Riyadh's 2026–27 Racing Season Promises Its Richest Programme Yet

The Jockey Club of Saudi Arabia's 2026–27 Riyadh Racing Season runs from 16 October 2026 to 17 April 2027 at King Abdulaziz Racecourse, with 50 race days, SAR 236.3 million in prize money, new race series and the eighth Saudi Cup on 5–6 February 2027.

Saudi Derby — upgraded status, up to Group 2.

The Saudi Cup: 5–6 February 2027

The highlight of the season is the Saudi Cup meeting, which returns for its eighth edition on 5 and 6 February 2027. First run in 2020, the Saudi Cup quickly established itself as one of the most valuable horse races in the world, attracting top horses, trainers and jockeys from across the globe.
